SMH Group celebrates Spireites sponsor renewal
An accounting and business advisory firm has scored a football sponsorship extension.
SMH Group has renewed a Chesterfield FC stadium deal for another three years.
The agreement will see the Spireites’ home continue to be known as the SMH Group Stadium.
Operating from bases in Derbyshire and Yorkshire, SMH Group is known for services including accountancy, financial planning, wills and probate, audit and assurance, commercial finance and residential mortgages.
It last year expanded with a deal for Chesterfield’s Mitchells Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers.
Jonathon Dickens, SMH Group chief executive, said: “Chesterfield FC plays a huge role in the local community, and the stadium has become a real point of pride for us as a business.
“This sponsorship is about more than having our name on the stadium; it is about backing an organisation that brings people together and represents the town so well.”
Ashley Kirk, Chesterfield FC chair, added: “We’re thrilled that SMH Group has committed to a further three years as our stadium sponsor.
“It is fantastic to continue working with a business that shares our commitment to the town and its community.”
SMH Group's office portfolio includes sites in Buxton, Huddersfield, Leeds, Rotherham and Sheffield.
