Electrical retailer grows with warehouse move
An electrical appliance retailer has bolstered operations with a warehouse switch.
AO has moved to a 323,876sq ft base in Alsager, near Crewe.
Bosses say the site will “further enhance the business’ operations and fuel growth plans”.
The company was supported on the switch by Leeds-headquartered law firm Gordons through a team led by commercial property partner Sarah Ratcliffe and commercial property lawyer Sophie Mason.
David Ashwell, AO Logistics’ managing director, said: “This facility will play an important role in supporting our continued growth.
“The building’s scale and excellent motorway access make it a strong operational fit with our North West warehouse space.”
Sophie added: “This was a time-critical transaction, so we were very pleased to help AO secure the site at pace.
“It provides AO with high-quality space to support its expanding distribution network.”
Gordons, which also operates a Bradford office, counts Iceland Foods, Morrisons, Ocado Retail and Wren Kitchens among its wider client base.
