Hay & Kilner expands commercial teams with double hire

North East law firm Hay & Kilner has strengthened its commercial offering with the appointment of two new lawyers as it continues to invest in talent during its 80th anniversary year.

Jacob Ward has joined as a commercial property solicitor, while Peter Robinson has been appointed as a consultant in the firm's corporate team.

Jacob joins after completing his training contract with a national law firm and brings experience across commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, development projects, landlord and tenant matters, and property finance.

Peter brings extensive corporate law experience gained through senior roles at a number of North East firms, as well as running his own consultancy business. 

He has advised clients ranging from start-ups and owner-managed businesses to listed companies on mergers and acquisitions, investments and growth strategies.

Peter added: “Having worked opposite Hay & Kilner on a number of deals over the years, I’ve always been impressed by the quality of the team and the way they work with clients.
