SAS Daniels makes senior promotions

North West law firm SAS Daniels has announced two senior promotions, with Kathryn Clare promoted to partner and Jo Lawson stepping up to associate solicitor.

Based in the firm's Chester office, Kathryn is a senior associate solicitor in the dispute resolution team and has been with SAS Daniels for eight years.

She advises private individuals and businesses on a range of disputes, including contractual, property and contentious probate matters, and was recognised in the Legal 500 UK 2026 as a key name for property and probate work.

Jo, who is based in the firm's Macclesfield office, has been promoted to associate solicitor within the residential conveyancing team.

With more than 20 years of experience, she advises clients on all aspects of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales, new-build purchases, shared ownership and lease extensions.

Their promotions recognise the pair's contribution to the firm and come as SAS Daniels continues to invest in its people and support growth across its offices in Cheshire and Greater Manchester.

Justine Clowes, managing partner and business owner at SAS Daniels LLP, said: “Kathryn has consistently demonstrated an exceptional standard of service, combining deep legal expertise with a calm, reassuring approach during what are often highly stressful times for our clients.

“Her promotion to partner is thoroughly deserved and reflects her status as a trusted, knowledgeable leader within our dispute resolution team.

“We are equally delighted to celebrate Jo’s promotion to associate solicitor.

“Bringing over two decades of invaluable experience to our residential property team, Jo provides our clients with steady, reliable, and highly expert support across often complex transactions.”
