Thomson Snell & Passmore announces 21 promotions and appointments

Kent-based law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore has announced 21 promotions and appointments across its legal and business services teams, including two new equity partners and five new salaried partners.

Faye Cook, from the corporate and commercial team, has been appointed as an equity partner, while Alan Kitcher, head of trust and tax management, is set to become an equity partner subject to regulatory approval.

Once approved, Alan will become the firm's first non-lawyer equity partner.

Promoted to salaried partner are Sarah Nettleship (wills, estate and tax planning), Sarah Lister (probate), Guy Evans (real estate disputes), and Katherine Morgan and Robert Trench from the real estate team.

The firm has also promoted Jonathan Simmons in information services, Kelly Garrett in finance and Poppy Bobbett in HR, alongside a number of colleagues across its court of protection, clinical negligence and personal injury, dispute resolution and real estate teams.

Joanna Pratt, senior partner at Thomson Snell & Passmore, said: “Congratulations to everyone on these well‑deserved promotions.

“Each reflects the calibre of our people and the meaningful contribution they make to the firm, our clients, and each other.

“As a strong, independent firm, our success is largely built on the quality of our people and the culture we create around them.

“These promotions are not only recognition of individual achievement, but also a clear signal of our commitment to investing in our talent, and ensuring they have the right tools, opportunities and environment to develop and excel.

“We are proud of our culture that is supportive, friendly and hardworking, where high performance goes hand‑in‑hand with genuine care for one another.

“It is through the hard work and dedication of our colleagues that we continue to grow and deliver for our clients.

“I want to thank everyone across the firm, from both our legal and business services teams, for their contribution.”
