River Cam Group grows with law firm agreement
A professional services firm has expanded with a legal move.
River Cam Group has bought Ives & Co Solicitors.
The Cambridge-based operator says the deal “supports consolidation in the fragmented UK legal services market and helps preserve local client relationships and regional legal services”.
The agreement for Nottingham-based Ives & Co Solicitors – which provides residential and commercial conveyancing, wills and probate services – was supported by funding from Growth Lending.
Under the terms of the deal, Ives & Co Solicitors’ management team will remain in place.
Louis Lew, River Cam Group chief executive, said: “This facility will enable us to build a scalable platform in a fragmented sector, while maintaining our commitment to service quality and local client relationships.”
Adam Brinn, Growth Lending managing director – debt finance, added: “We’re pleased to support River Cam Group with the acquisition of Ives & Co Solicitors.
“The business benefits from a strong track record, a resilient and cash-generative model, and an experienced management team.”
