Gorvins strengthens senior team
Stockport-based law firm Gorvins Solicitors has appointed Julian Bond and Jonathan Booth as partners and Rebecca Muirhead as senior associate as it continues to strengthen its specialist legal services.
Julian joins the corporate and commercial team, bringing almost 40 years of experience advising owner-managed businesses on commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions. Jonathan joins the litigation team with expertise in complex injury claims, insurance disputes and commercial litigation.
Rebecca joins the family team as senior associate, specialising in all aspects of family law.
She has particular expertise in supporting neurodivergent clients and has received recognition from both Doyles Guide and The Legal 500.
Their appointments bring almost 80 years of combined experience to the firm and support its continued growth across key practice areas.
Mark Deverell, managing partner at Gorvins Solicitors, which currently employs more than 80 people and has a team of 26 partners serving clients across the region and beyond, said: “Julian, Jonathan and Rebecca have a wealth of experience in their respective fields and will not only add copious amounts of knowledge to the business, but also provide an abundance of learning opportunities for our growing talent pool.
“A company is nothing without its people and we’re very pleased to have this ‘tremendous trio’ on board.”
