Builder breaks ground on £3.5 million development
A family-run housebuilder has started work on a £3.5 million scheme.
Richert Homes has broken ground on the nine-home Manor Croft development.
Based in Crigglestone, on the outskirts of Wakefield, the estate will include two, three and four-bed semi-detached and detached properties.
Work on the first homes is expected to be completed later this year.
Luke Richert, managing director at Leeds-based Richert Homes, said: “It’s great to be on site and underway; Manor Croft will be another great example of the homes we deliver.”
The housebuilder was advised on its acquisition of the 1.1-acre Crigglestone site by a team from Bradford and Leeds-based law firm Gordons.
James Kimberley, commercial property partner, said: “It has been a pleasure to support Luke and his team on the delivery of Richert Homes’ growth plans.
“We look forward to working with them to secure further sites across the region.”
