Bevan Brittan appoints government law head
Commercial law firm Bevan Brittan has appointed Kuldip Dhanoya as partner and head of its central and local government practice, continuing its investment in senior legal talent.
Kuldip joins from TLT, where she led the public procurement team, and brings more than 25 years of experience advising public and private sector clients on commercial, contractual and procurement matters.
Her expertise spans central and local government projects, public-private partnerships, outsourcing arrangements and complex procurement frameworks.
She said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that is deeply respected across both central and local government.
“Bevan Brittan has built an exceptional reputation in this market, with highly skilled specialists delivering expert support across a broad range of critical issues.
“I’m excited to lead such a talented team and look forward to further strengthening and expanding this already market-leading offering in the years ahead.”
The appointment strengthens Bevan Brittan’s established government practice, which advises central government departments, agencies and local authorities across the UK.
Kuldip becomes the sixth partner to join the firm in 2026, following a series of senior appointments across its litigation, construction, employment and corporate teams.
The firm has also recently promoted 33 lawyers and 11 business services professionals as it continues to expand its national capabilities.
Jodie Sinclair, senior partner at Bevan Brittan, added: “Kuldip is another exceptional hire for us, and once again reinforces our standing in the market and our ability to consistently attract the very best people as we continue to grow our business and client base.
“Kuldip is a high-quality addition to our central and local government expertise, and under her leadership our team will continue to expand our offering and build an even stronger reputation in this important sector.
“We’re delighted to welcome her to our business.”
