Hill Dickinson promotes four to partner

Commercial law firm Hill Dickinson has promoted four lawyers to partner following a year of continued growth across the business.

Ruth Cockram, Becca Layton, Richard Marshall and Kun Ho Park have all joined the partnership, taking the firm's total number of partners to 180.

Liverpool-based Ruth and Becca have both been promoted within the firm’s real estate finance team. 

Ruth advises investors, developers and institutional lenders on major transactions, while Becca, who joined the firm as a trainee solicitor more than a decade ago, works with a range of lenders and corporate clients.

Richard, based in the firm’s Newcastle and Leeds offices, has played a key role in developing Hill Dickinson's private client practice across the North East and Yorkshire. 

He specialises in tax, estate planning and personal legal matters and is chair of the North East and Cumbria branch of STEP.

Meanwhile, shipping specialist Kun Ho Park has been promoted in the firm’s Singapore office. 

He advises international shipowners, charterers, operators, traders, cargo owners and insurers as part of Hill Dickinson's global maritime practice.

The promotions form part of a wider round of more than 30 promotions across the firm, including 11 new legal directors and six senior associates.
