Knights strengthens Bristol private client team
Legal and professional services business Knights has appointed Nerys Thomas as a partner in its Bristol private client team, further strengthening its advisory offering in the South West.
Nerys brings a decade of post-qualification experience advising clients on tax, trusts and succession planning, having worked across Bristol, Cardiff and the West Midlands.
Her expertise includes inheritance tax planning, complex wills, trust creation and administration, and the management of high-value estates for individuals, families and business owners.
A full member of STEP and a fluent Welsh speaker, Nerys joins a growing Bristol team that has recently welcomed private client partner Daniel Harris and family partner Hannah Livesy.
Nerys said: “I’m delighted to be joining Knights during such an exciting period of growth for the business.
“I’ve worked across the South West and South Wales for most of my career so far, I’m looking forward to working with clients and colleagues from across the Knights network in what is a highly collaborative and supportive working environment.”
Nerys’ appointment comes during a period of strong growth for Knights, which recently reported an expected 28 per cent increase in annual revenue to £207 million, alongside an 18 per cent rise in profits to £33 million.
James Christacos, regional client services director said: “Nerys is an excellent addition to our Bristol private client services team which has doubled in size over recent months.
“She has a fantastic reputation locally and is an expert in her field, which is fantastic for our clients and colleagues as we strive to deliver the very best legal advice.
“Nerys joins us at an exciting time of growth not just regionally here in the South West but nationally also, with yet more talented professionals set to join the business in the weeks and months to come.”
