Ramsdens strengthens learning and development team

Yorkshire law firm Ramsdens Solicitors has appointed Steven Sutherland as legal training manager as it continues to invest in learning and development to support its growth strategy.

Steven brings more than 20 years of experience in legal training and skills development. 

After qualifying as a litigation solicitor, he moved into specialist training roles, designing and delivering programmes for legal professionals across the UK, USA and India.

His experience includes developing legal and professional skills academies, creating career development pathways for newly qualified solicitors and writing training materials for the legal sector’s first solicitor apprenticeship programme, as well as accredited resources for the Law Society.

At Ramsdens, Steven will work alongside people development manager Jackie Astbury to enhance the firm’s onboarding programme, training framework and governance across its 11 offices.

Steven’s appointment forms part of Ramsdens’ continued investment in developing its people and strengthening its long-term growth strategy.
