CMP Legal strengthens disputes team
Chesterfield-based law firm CMP Legal has appointed Adam Hollis as dispute resolution director, strengthening its litigation offering as the Legal 500 firm continues to grow.
Adam joins from Elliott Mather, where he was partner and head of litigation across the firm's Nottingham and Derby offices.
He brings more than 15 years' experience advising businesses, agricultural clients and private individuals on complex commercial and property disputes.
His expertise spans commercial litigation, property litigation, professional negligence and partnership disputes, with particular specialisms in agricultural litigation and civil dog law.
Adam said: “CMP Legal is underpinned by modern values and is very client focused, which has created a dynamic environment for both staff and clients.
“It aligns with my values and how I want to litigate, which is to put client interests at the forefront while achieving sensible, pragmatic outcomes that are in the interests of everyone involved.
“It’s an exciting prospect in terms of being able to grow the team and bring my diverse and niche skillset to an already strong legal offering.”
Adam’s appointment supports CMP Legal’s continued expansion as the firm looks to further develop its dispute resolution practice following its recent growth and Legal 500 recognition.
CMP Legal co-founder and solicitor Stacey Pocock added: “Adam is known for his clear, strategic approach to resolving disputes efficiently and cost effectively.
“We’re delighted that he has chosen to bring his deep expertise to CMP Legal.
“He joins us at an exciting time for the firm as we continue to grow our services and strengthen our senior leadership team.”
