Harrison Drury strengthens private client team
Independent Northern law firm Harrison Drury has appointed partner Jennifer Couchman as head of its wills, trusts and probate team.
Based at the firm’s Stoke-on-Trent office, Jennifer will lead the 31-strong team across Harrison Drury’s nine regional offices.
Jennifer joined the firm in December 2025, bringing extensive experience advising clients on wills, probate, succession planning, inheritance tax, trusts and agricultural estate matters.
A full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), she also advises on wealth protection and intergenerational succession.
Jennifer said: “What drew me to Harrison Drury six months ago was the reputation the firm had for the quality of its legal services.
“It’s therefore a huge privilege to be asked to lead the wills, trusts and probate team.
“I’m looking forward to working even more closely with our colleagues across the North, and with specialists across the firm, as we further enhance the depth of advice and support available to our clients, particularly farming families, business owners and individuals seeking to protect wealth and make important decisions about succession and the future.”
Jennifer’s appointment strengthens Harrison Drury’s home and family division as the firm continues to expand its specialist private client offering across the North.
Duncan Rawlinson, partner and head of Harrison Drury’s home and family division, added: “Jennifer has played an instrumental role over the last six months, not just in helping to establish and grow our Stoke office, but also in contributing to the wider development of our wills, trusts and probate services offering across the firm.
“We’re delighted Jennifer will now be leading our team, helping to enhance the support we provide to clients.”
