Watsons Solicitors promotes new partner
Warrington-based law firm Watsons Solicitors has promoted Lauren Soutar to partner, strengthening its senior leadership team.
Lauren becomes the firm’s sixth partner, joining Catrin Parry, Danny Hudson, Chris Illingworth and Kristel Clarke in supporting managing partner Latham Parry.
A member of Watsons Solicitors’ family department, Lauren is the third solicitor from the team to become a partner.
She joined the firm almost five years ago and holds the Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation.
Lauren said: “It has always been an aspiration of mine to become a partner, so I’m incredibly happy that it has happened as quickly as it has.
“When becoming partner was mentioned, my immediate thought was ‘absolutely, yes’, because I love working at Watsons.
“You get to learn from the best and being around the likes of Latham, Catrin, Chris, Danny, and Kristel more and more will be brilliant for my development.”
Lauren’s promotion reflects the firm's continued investment in developing talent and further strengthens its leadership team as Watsons Solicitors continues to grow its legal services across Cheshire.
Danny added: “It’s no surprise to me that someone as hard working and dedicated as Lauren has been promoted.
“From day one, her eagerness to learn and develop, coupled with ambition, has made her a force to be reckoned with.
“We now look forward to seeing the impact Lauren has on the wider team at Watsons.”
