IT firm boosts 'growth trajectory' with takeover
An IT services firm says it is plugged in for growth after completing a multi-million-pound takeover.
TSG has bought Creative Computing Solutions.
The Gateshead-headquartered company says the move for the Maidenhead-based operator forms part of its “continued growth trajectory”, with its headcount set to increase by nearly ten per cent.
Under the terms of the deal, Creative Computing Solutions’ chief executive Justin Farmiloe has become TSG’s chief technology officer, with the business’ contracts, support arrangements and intellectual property remaining unchanged.
Operating as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central partner, Creative Computing Solutions is known for work with Hat Trick Productions, whose credits include programmes such as Derry Girls and Have I Got News For You.
Employing about 300 staff, TSG supports businesses using Microsoft Dynamics, Sage and Pegasus applications, as well as broader Microsoft technologies across areas including the professional services, healthcare and food and drink sectors.
It counts Perspective Financial Group, Day Lewis Pharmacy and McQueens Dairies among its client base.
Rory McKeand, TSG chief executive, said: “Creative Computing Solutions was a natural fit, offering an established Business Central customer base, the technical expertise our partners expect and complementary capabilities that will further enhance our offering.
“Customers will keep what already works: access to the people, support contacts and specialist Business Central expertise they know, while gaining the additional depth across managed IT, cloud, cybersecurity, business applications, data and artificial intelligence.”
Justin added: “It was important to find a partner that understood our customers, our people and the specialist capability we have developed.
“This acquisition gives us the scale and wider expertise to do more for customers.”
TSG previously completed deals for Computer Geeks and education sector accountancy software and financial management support provider Dayta.
