Three's the key as comms tech company expands
A communication technology firm is eyeing further growth after marking its third anniversary with an office move and a 300th client.
Apollo Cloud has switched to a new Leeds base and added Commerson Estate Management to its portfolio.
And it says the headline moves leave the business in “a strong position” to continue expanding, with bosses refusing to rule out future acquisitions.
Co-founded by Michelle Atkinson and Jonathan Marsden, the firm – based at The Calls, in Leeds – provides VoIP telephony, unified communications, business mobiles and internet connectivity services.
Working across the business, education, logistics, healthcare, recruitment and finance sectors, its client list includes Reed Boardall, LivingCare, York Racecourse and now Leeds-based Commerson Estate Management.
It last year bought Harrogate-based Xi Communications in a move bosses said would “accelerate innovation for next-generation communications”.
Michelle, Apollo Cloud chief operating officer, said: “Reaching 300 customers in three years is an achievement we’re very proud of – but we’re not stopping there.
“The infrastructure we now have in place puts us in a strong position for further growth, and relocating to The Calls gives us space for this next growth phase.
“These are exciting times.”
Jonathan, Apollo Cloud chief executive, added: “We’re incredibly proud Commerson Estate Management has become our 300th customer.
“Reaching this milestone with another Leeds business makes it even more special.”
