Engineering firm expands with 'milestone' takeover
An engineering consultancy says it is primed for growth after completing an “exciting milestone” takeover.
John Turner Consulting has bought Northeast Geotechnical.
Officials say the swoop for the Massachusetts-based geotechnical engineering consultancy leaves it set to expand across the US.
The deal was supported by John Turner Consulting’s London-headquartered parent company Celnor Group, which says the move will support its “wider international expansion”.
Boasting a team offering more than 75 years’ expertise, Northeast Geotechnical provides services such as site investigation, foundation engineering, construction observation and materials testing across sectors including commercial and residential development, industrial facilities and the public sector.
John Turner, president of New Hampshire-headquartered John Turner Consulting, said: “Northeast Geotechnical's expertise and regional strength complements our existing capabilities and supports our continued growth.”
Jared Lozo, Celnor Group US chief executive, said: “This is an exciting milestone for our growth in the US.
“This partnership strengthens our ability to deliver high-quality geotechnical solutions across a broader footprint.”
Glenn Olson and Mark Zambernardi, Northeast Geotechnical principal engineers, added: “This partnership creates exciting opportunities for our team and clients, allowing us to build on our strong regional presence while contributing to an international platform.”
The move comes just days after Celnor Group bought Ireland-based water testing and environmental and fuel analysis firm TelLab.
