Real estate investment firm in £89.1 million loan boost
A real estate investment manager has netted an £89.1 million lending deal to support a twin industrial venture.
Europa has secured a green loan to finance two distribution hubs along the M1 corridor.
Bosses say the HSBC UK backing will support the 575,000sq ft Panattoni Park South Normanton site, in Derbyshire, and the 710,000sq ft Panattoni Park Rotherham venture.
Developed alongside Panattoni, they add the sites have secured “long-term lettings” with e-commerce, pharmaceutical and automotive sector operators.
James Keast, Europa director, said: “Securing this financing following the development and stabilisation of these assets is an endorsement of our strategy and reflects our long-standing relationship with HSBC UK.”
Alfie Banks, HSBC UK relationship director, added: “This funding demonstrates our commitment to backing ambitious real estate investors in the UK logistics sector.”
