Law firm flies the flag in city team expansion
A Yorkshire law firm is expanding its Leeds team and increasing its presence in the city centre.
The recruitment drive will bolster LCF Law’s Leeds office, with new roles across its corporate, property, dispute resolution and personal law teams.
It has also installed ten branded flags across Boar Lane and Wellington Street to raise its profile in the city centre, where it has been based in a 6000sq ft office on Park Place since 2020.
Around 40 of LCF Law’s 149 employees are now based at the Leeds office.
The investment follows a sustained period of growth for the Yorkshire-headquartered practice, which has recruited 26 new team members since the start of the year across its offices in Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate and Ilkley.
Earlier this year, the firm was named in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026 list in the medium-sized business category, becoming one of only a small number of UK law firms to receive the recognition for a second time.
LCF Law also recently introduced a refreshed purpose, vision and values framework, which it says will support its continued growth, recruitment and client service as it builds on its position as a full-service law firm across Yorkshire.
Ragan Montgomery, managing partner at LCF Law, said: “Leeds is an incredibly important city for our business, and we’re committed to continuing our investment here.
“As we’ve grown, we’ve recognised that although we have a strong presence in Leeds, we haven’t had the visibility in the city centre that reflects the scale of our business or our ambitions.
“Installing these flags is a way of increasing our profile and demonstrating our long-term commitment to Leeds.
“We’re continuing to recruit talented people, invest in our teams and support businesses across the city and the wider region, so it’s important that our presence better reflects who we are today.
“Our recent growth, the launch of our values and being recognised once again as one of the UK’s best places to work all demonstrate the direction the firm is heading.
“We want people across Leeds to increasingly recognise LCF Law as a Leeds law firm that is investing in the city and its future.”
