Knights appoints banking partner in Kings Hill

Legal and professional services business Knights has appointed Jim Garton as partner, strengthening its banking team in Kings Hill.

Jim brings almost 36 years’ experience as a real estate lawyer, with expertise spanning real estate finance, investment and development and a particular specialism in the hotel and leisure sector.

During his career, he has advised on assets including residential and commercial developments, student accommodation, care homes, retirement living, warehouses, shopping centres and business parks.

His experience also includes advising West Ham United FC on the sale of the Boleyn Ground and its move to the London Stadium.

Jim said: “It’s an absolute pleasure to join such a talented and ambitious team in Kings Hill during a clear period of growth for the business both here in the South East and nationally. 

“This move represents a really exciting challenge for me as we look to continue to grow our banking offering nationally.

Jim’s appointment adds further real estate finance expertise to Knights’ Kings Hill Banking team, strengthening the support available to clients across a broad range of property transactions.
