Thomson Hayton Winkley strengthens family law team

Cumbria law firm Thomson Hayton Winkley (THW) has appointed Jordan Wallace as a family solicitor, strengthening its team at its Kendal headquarters.

Jordan joins from Laker Legal Solicitors in Lancaster and brings more than ten years’ legal experience, having started his career as a paralegal at Simpson Millar.

He advises clients on matters including divorce and finances, domestic abuse, issues relating to children, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation and separation agreements, and TOLATA cases.

Jordan said: “THW has a strong reputation for providing legal services with a caring, understanding and client-first approach.

“When it comes to family law, these are essential.

“Joining the firm was too good an opportunity to pass up.

“The firm is well established and respected in the area, and its values align well with mine.

“I look forward to playing a major part in the development of the family department, supporting clients as they go through what can be some of the most difficult times of their lives.”

He will work alongside specialist family paralegal Jayne Grassing, who has been with the firm for more than 20 years.

Jordan’s appointment follows the recent arrivals of Nina Hood as head of residential property and Phil Capstick, who specialises in litigation and dispute resolution, as the 55-strong firm continues to expand its expertise.
