Flint Bishop appoints Sheffield property partner
Law firm Flint Bishop has appointed Charlotte Harris as partner in its commercial property team as it continues to expand its Sheffield operation.
Charlotte joins from Knights and brings more than 20 years’ experience advising investment businesses, banks, healthcare operators and organisations across the energy, renewables and waste sectors.
Her expertise spans large-scale portfolio acquisitions, commercial property sales and purchases, secured lending and refinancing, as well as property advice supporting wider corporate transactions.
She has particular experience in healthcare, advising GPs, funders and care home operators on acquisitions, disposals and financing, alongside expertise in the waste and renewables sector.
Charlotte said: “The opportunity to join Flint Bishop as it continues its expansion across Sheffield is one that truly excites me.
“The firm has a clear ambition for the region and, having spent much of my career supporting businesses and organisations across the city’s vibrant market.
“It’s a pleasure to be part of Flint Bishop as it establishes itself as a growing force in the city.”
Charlotte’s appointment follows the recent arrival of corporate partner Russell Bainbridge and comes shortly after Flint Bishop opened its new office at 1 Holly Street in Sheffield.
Flint Bishop now operates from seven offices across the UK as it continues to invest in its regional presence, people and services.
Qamer Ghafoor, chief executive at Flint Bishop, said: “Charlotte’s appointment represents another significant step forward for Flint Bishop as we continue to invest in Sheffield and strengthen our presence across the region.
“Her extensive experience, strong understanding of the local market and expertise across key sectors make her an excellent addition to our commercial property team.
“Following the opening of our new Sheffield office, Charlotte’s arrival adds further momentum to our growth in the city and demonstrates our commitment to building a leading legal presence in Sheffield and across the North.”
