Ralph Sayer adds second ‘home-grown’ solicitor
Edinburgh-based solicitors and estate agents Ralph Sayer has appointed Katie Wright as a solicitor after she successfully completed a two-year traineeship with the firm.
Katie has accepted a full-time position at the family-run business, having joined Ralph Sayer following her studies at the universities of Aberdeen and Edinburgh.
She graduated from the University of Aberdeen before completing her Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh.
Originally from North Berwick and now living in Edinburgh, Katie becomes the latest solicitor to progress through Ralph Sayer's own training programme.
She said: “My time here has gone really quickly and I am excited to join the company as a permanent member of staff and qualified solicitor.
“It’s nice to be recognised for all the work I have done over the past two years.
“There is a really nice atmosphere within the office and everyone gets on so well.
“I am really enjoying it and I feel part of the family now.”
Katie’s appointment follows that of Megan Kane, who earlier this year became the first solicitor to both train and qualify with the firm.
Chief executive Ivan Ralph added: “Katie is very much on the ball.
“In keeping with the ethos of the firm, she’s responsive to clients, very organised and deals with things with the minimum of fuss and very efficiently.
“We have had a lot of positive feedback from clients about the work she has done for them, and she will be a very good person to retain in the business.”
