Knights strengthens Chelmsford private client team
Legal and professional services firm Knights has appointed Manzurul Islam to its Chelmsford team, bringing more than 20 years’ experience across private client work and dispute resolution.
Manzurul began his career in commercial litigation before specialising in wills and probate in 2020.
He now advises on matters including wills, trusts, estate administration, succession and inheritance tax planning, as well as protecting family wealth across generations.
His wider experience spans strategic leadership, client relationship development and mentoring, which will also support the development of Knights' growing team.
Manzurul said: “It’s an absolute pleasure to join such a talented and ambitious team in Chelmsford during a clear period of growth for the business both here in Essex and nationally.
“This move represents a really exciting challenge for me as we look to continue to grow our private client offering nationally.
“Knights is a thought leader and standard bearer for culture and collaboration, so once it expanded into my home county, joining was a natural next step.
“I could see there was a better way to work, and I wanted to be a part of it.”
Manzurul’s appointment strengthens Knights' private client capabilities in Essex as the business continues to invest in regional expertise.
Knights has 1400 professionals across the UK, providing legal and professional services to businesses and private individuals.
Martin Hopkins, regional client services director at Knights, added: “I’m delighted to welcome Manzurul to the team.
“He is a vastly experienced expert in wills and probate work, has a great reputation across the region and is a brilliant addition to the team here in Chelmsford, which is fantastic for our clients and colleagues as we strive to deliver the very best legal advice.”
