Law firm expands London base amid growth

A law firm is expanding its presence in London with a move to larger offices following a year of strong growth in the capital.

Blake Morgan has taken 10,745sq ft at 100 Fetter Lane, relocating from its nearby New Street Square base after a decade.

The investment follows a 35.8 per cent increase in revenue from the firm’s London office during the last financial year and comes amid continued investment in its team.

Developed by BauMont Real Estate Capital and YardNine, the new grade-A office opened in 2025 and features flexible workspaces alongside strong sustainability credentials.

Designed to achieve net-zero carbon in operation, the all-electric building uses 30 per cent less energy than current required standards.

“As we begin the next chapter, we are also waving goodbye to New Street Square, which has been our home for the past decade.

Blake Morgan, which employs teams across England and Wales, with further offices in Oxford, Reading, Southampton, Manchester and Cardiff, has also strengthened its London team through a series of appointments across corporate, real estate and employment.

Recent additions include insolvency partner Alejandro Worthington, corporate immigration specialist Dipesh Shah and his six-strong team, corporate partner Joan Yu and real estate specialist Scott Hilton.

The firm has also invested in internal progression, with corporate lawyer Michelle Davenport promoted to partner in May and banking and finance lawyer Harry Taylor becoming legal director in July.
