Excello Law expands property litigation team

Fee-share law firm Excello Law, headquartered in London, has expanded its property litigation practice with the appointment of Claire-Elaine Arthurs, Rhian Horwill and Caroline Lamming-Chowen.

The three lawyers join from Gunnercooke, with Claire-Elaine leading the team as a property disputes specialist partner.

She brings more than 20 years of experience across property litigation, regulatory and governance matters, advising clients including property and estate managers, local authorities, landlords and tenants.

Claire-Elaine said: “My team and I chose to join Excello because clients are genuinely at the heart of everything the firm does.

“Excello provides us with a reliable and supportive platform from which we can provide a great service to our clients alongside other lawyers of real calibre.

“The firm is ambitious and growing rapidly, embracing the changing landscape of legal services, but doing so without compromising on the values that underpin it.”

Rhian advises on property and commercial disputes, including landlord and tenant matters, lease interpretation, dilapidations and boundary disputes, alongside governance, compliance and risk management.

Caroline has more than a decade of experience across property and construction disputes, commercial litigation and regulatory law, with particular expertise in complex investigations and high-stakes disputes.

The trio are joined by paralegal Daisy Howard, who brings 12 years of senior-level experience in social housing and is working towards qualification as a solicitor.

Their arrival follows continued growth at Excello, which recently reported record annual turnover, with revenues increasing 224 per cent since 2022.

Founded in 2009, the firm now operates 13 offices internationally, including London, Manchester, Belfast, Dubai and San Francisco.

Jo Losty, chief operating officer of Excello Law, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Claire-Elaine, Rhian and Caroline to Excello.

“We’re proud to offer a genuine difference in the fee-share market, a genuinely extensive support service rated excellent by 97 per cent of our lawyers.

“More and more, we're seeing leading lawyers make the move to Excello because our results speak for themselves.

“Our focus is, and always has been, sustained growth, and at Excello we provide the depth of service to meet the needs of lawyers like Claire-Elaine, ensuring they are fully supported.”
