Flint Bishop makes six senior hires

Law firm Flint Bishop has appointed six experienced lawyers, including three partners, as it continues to expand its presence across Yorkshire and the North of England.

Richard Smith joins as partner, head of commercial property for the North and Sheffield office lead, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the Yorkshire property market.

He will lead Flint Bishop’s 13-strong commercial property team across Sheffield, Leeds and York, advising on development, investment, asset management and regeneration work.

Craig Law has also joined the commercial property team as partner, bringing more than two decades of experience advising landowners, developers and investors.

Meanwhile, Paul Trudgill has been appointed partner in the corporate team in Sheffield. He has more than 30 years of transactional experience across mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital and employee ownership trust deals.

The commercial property team has been further expanded with the appointments of Thomas Roberts and Hollie Scholey as senior associates and Charlie John as associate.

The six appointments form part of Flint Bishop’s wider growth programme as it invests in its teams and expands its capabilities across the North.
