Myerson announces six partner promotions

Altrincham-based law firm Myerson has made six partner promotions as it continues to invest in developing talent across the company.

David Jones and Robert Brothers have become partners in the commercial litigation team, with David specialising in professional negligence and construction disputes and Robert focusing on commercial agency and intellectual property litigation.

Ryan Fletcher has been promoted to corporate partner, advising on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, demergers and banking transactions, while Carly Traverse becomes a residential property partner.

Meanwhile, Ashley Reynolds, head of marketing, and Chris Wilson, head of business development and a corporate lawyer, have also joined the partnership.

The six appointments take the number of promotions across Myerson to 13 during 2026 and follow the recent appointment of Richard Lloyd as chief executive, succeeding Carl Newton.

Myerson is also welcoming new trainees and its fifth cohort of legal apprentices this month as it continues to invest in developing its future workforce.

The employee-owned firm now employs more than 165 people and is continuing to expand its teams as part of its wider growth strategy across the North West and beyond.
