Triodos Bank bolsters healthcare lending team

Sustainable bank Triodos Bank UK has appointed Scott Pamflett as senior relationship manager as it continues to expand its healthcare lending expertise.

Scott brings 40 years of banking experience, including roles at Barclays and Santander, with a particular focus on supporting healthcare businesses.

His experience spans independent owner-managed businesses and larger regional and national groups, advising on acquisitions, refinancing, development finance and long-term growth strategies.

He joins Triodos Bank UK’s wellbeing team, which provides finance to organisations including residential and nursing care homes, therapeutic children’s services and residential family centres.

The team approved more than £100 million of new lending during 2025, supporting 87 care homes and more than 1300 adults, children and young people.

Recent deals include a £21 million loan to Fisher Care Group to support the purchase and development of two care homes in the North of England, alongside £12.34 million for Beritaz Care to refinance existing debt and support the expansion of Robertson Nursing Home.

Scott, who will be based in the North West, supporting clients nationwide, said: “Those who rely on care services depend on stable, high-quality support, and resilient funding can be the difference between continuity of care and disruption.

“Joining Triodos Bank UK has given me the opportunity to use my skills and experience to work with projects that have an important, positive impact on the health and wellbeing of communities across the UK, including those with complex care needs.”

Mavric Webbstock, head of business lending for wellbeing at Triodos Bank UK, added: “At Triodos Bank UK, we finance organisations that are working for a world where everyone can thrive.

“Ensuring that access to high-quality care is available for all individuals at all stages of life is a key part of this and having Scott on the team will help us to grow our support for healthcare providers at a time when the sector is facing increasing pressure and demand for its services.”
