SBF appoints senior relationship manager

Commercial finance provider Skipton Business Finance has appointed Stuart Mace as senior relationship manager, adding more than two decades of industry experience to its client management team.

Birmingham-based Stuart joins from Aldermore Bank and brings 22 years’ experience across invoice finance and asset-based lending.

His career has spanned both relationship management and credit risk, providing experience of supporting businesses with a range of funding requirements.

In his new role, he will manage a portfolio of clients, working with businesses to ensure their funding facilities continue to meet their needs as they develop.

He will also hold underwriting responsibility across the South, supporting existing client facilities and new business opportunities.

Stuart said: “Skipton Business Finance has built a strong reputation in the market, and its ambitions for the future made this a particularly exciting opportunity.

“The funding landscape has evolved considerably during my time in the industry, and businesses increasingly need funders that can combine experience and flexibility with a strong understanding of their individual requirements.

Stuart’s appointment forms part of Skipton Business Finance’s continued investment in its team and capabilities as it looks to broaden the scale and range of funding available to UK SMEs.

It also builds on the company’s established invoice finance offering and wider support for growing businesses.
