Games firm 'to power up revenues' as sales increase
A video game developer says earnings are set to jump to a new level after strong demand.
Everplay Group has revealed full-year revenues are expected to come in “materially ahead of current market expectations”.
Company figures following its interim results show revenues at £197.6 million and adjusted EBITDA hitting £57.2 million.
Bosses say the uptick has been driven by “very strong” trading, with its Wardogs and Hell Let Loose: Vietnam titles performing “ahead of expectations” and its back catalogue remaining “resilient”.
The Wakefield-headquartered firm says combat game Wardogs has sold about three million PC copies, with first-person shooter Hell Let Loose: Vietnam racking up in excess of one million PC and console sales.
A spokesperson said: “While the important final quarter includes a number of high profile launches from major studios, the board nevertheless expects revenues and adjusted EBITDA for the 2026 financial year to be materially ahead of the current market expectations.”
The business previously took a 20 per cent minority stake in Super Media Group and bought the long-term publishing rights to a suite of ten previously launched titles, including Heavenly Bodies and Spiritfall.
