Legal operator expands with 'exciting' takeover
A law firm has expanded with a takeover.
VMH Solicitors has bought Orme Law.
The Edinburgh-based legal operator says the move marks an “exciting step forward and reflects the company’s ambition to continue growing a Scottish legal practice built around exceptional client service”.
They add the deal will combine VMH Solicitors’ “strengths in residential property, private client services and estate agency” with Falkirk-based Orme Law’s “reputation in commercial property, commercial leasing and business legal services” to bolster the former’s presence across Edinburgh, the Lothians and Scotland’s Central Belt.
Kevin McLuskey, VMH Solicitors’ director, said: “Orme Law has an outstanding reputation and shares our values of providing practical, straightforward legal advice backed by genuine personal relationships.
“This strengthens our presence across Scotland while introducing an established commercial property capability that perfectly complements our existing services.”
Alan Orme, founder of Orme Law, added: “This represents an exciting opportunity for our clients, our people and the future of the practice.
“Our clients will continue to receive the service and trusted relationships they value, while benefiting from the additional expertise, resources and wider range of legal services that VMH Solicitors offers.”
