Maguire Family Law strengthens Manchester team
A Manchester and Cheshire-based family law firm has announced two promotions and two new appointments as it expands its Manchester city centre team amid record levels of enquiries.
Maguire Family Law has promoted Jennifer Hudec to partner, having joined the firm as a senior associate in 2025.
Jennifer specialises in high-net-worth divorce and complex financial remedy proceedings, alongside private children matters and wider family law issues.
The firm has also promoted Ruth Wynn to associate solicitor, recognising her professional development and contribution to the team.
Meanwhile, Ciara Florey joins as an associate solicitor, bringing experience in high-value financial settlements and private children disputes.
She is joined by solicitor Alice Ferguson, who recently completed her training contract at a full-service law firm and has experience handling complex and sensitive children law matters.
The appointments follow the recruitment of two additional solicitors to Maguire Family Law’s Wilmslow office earlier this year, with further expansion planned in Knutsford.
Established in 2010, the specialist firm operates from offices in Manchester city centre, Altrincham, Knutsford and Wilmslow, advising clients on divorce, financial settlements, children matters and other aspects of family law.
James Maguire, managing director of Maguire Family Law, said: “We have experienced a record year for enquiries, reflecting the continued demand for specialist advice on complex divorce, financial and children matters.
“Jennifer's promotion to partner reflects both her contribution to the firm and our commitment to developing talented lawyers into leadership roles.
“She is an accomplished family lawyer whose experience, judgement and dedication to delivering exceptional client service make her a valuable addition to our partnership.
“We are equally delighted to recognise Ruth’s progression to associate solicitor and to welcome Ciara and Alice to the team.
“Their appointments strengthen our ability to provide clients with the specialist expertise, practical advice and personal support they need during what can be some of the most challenging times in their lives.
“As we approach the third anniversary of opening our Manchester city centre office, we are proud of the reputation we have established and the strength of our growing team.
“Continuing to attract, develop and retain talented family lawyers remains central to our ambitions for the future.”
