Switalskis strengthens wills and probate team
Law firm Switalskis has strengthened its wills and probate team with two appointments across its Doncaster and Grimsby offices.
Rebecca Parry joins the Doncaster team, while Hannah Gamble has been appointed to the firm’s recently established Grimsby office.
Both bring experience in private client law, advising on wills, lasting powers of attorney, grants of probate and estate administration.
Rebecca has more than ten years’ experience in wills and probate, having trained at a Doncaster law firm before qualifying as a solicitor in 2019.
She subsequently spent more than five years working in Barnsley and has particular expertise in estate administration, supporting families with legal and practical matters following bereavement.
Rebecca said: “I realised early in my career that this is an area of law I enjoy because of the personal nature of the work.
“With estate administration, I help people at a difficult time in their lives and can help take away some of the burden.
“I was attracted to Switalskis because of its strong reputation and commitment to having a positive impact on the local community.”
Meanwhile, Hannah joins after 12 years with her previous firm, where she initially worked in its recoveries team.
She moved into wills and probate in 2018 after completing her graduate diploma in law, before qualifying as a solicitor in 2023.
Hannah added: “I think it’s important for clients to have someone local they can sit down with face to face and talk through their circumstances.
“This area of law can involve very personal decisions, and people need to feel they are being listened to and given advice that is right for them.
“I have strong connections in Grimsby both personally and professionally, so being able to help people here is really rewarding.”
Both solicitors have strong local connections, with Rebecca originally from Doncaster and Hannah from the Grimsby area.
Their appointments expand Switalskis' private client expertise and strengthen its services for individuals and families across both communities.
Catrin Lloyd, director and head of wills and probate at Switalskis, added: “Hannah and Rebecca bring a wealth of knowledge to the team.
“Their appointments mean we can support more people at every stage of life, whether that’s a young family thinking about protecting their children, or people planning for later life and making sure their wishes and legacy are protected.
“They are both approachable and understand how important client care is, which makes them a perfect fit for our team.”
