We help businesses to start and to grow. To help businesses to grow we have for the past 7 years, on behalf of the Skills Funding Agency, successfully delivered the Regional Leadership & Management Advisory Service across the North East Region (Northumberland; Tyne & Wear; County Durham and Tees side) To encourage and assist with Business Start Up we also work to assist pre-start, new and existing business by providing information, advice and support on running and developing a business to clients in Northumberland. Our range of free pre- business start-up and business support solutions includes: -Guidance and development for individuals considering self-employment -Business skills development for those who have recently, set up in business and worked with us prior to starting up. -Development of skills to help get the new business running -Identification of finance (including grants and loans) that may be available for -A specialist ‘Social Enterprise’ Adviser is also available to provide help and support. -Leadership and management skills development for senior member of staff Where is NBSL located? The Head Office is based in Ashington and in addition we have a network of high-street Business Advice Centres. NBSL are approved by the Department of Business Innovation and Skills as an Enterprise Agency and as an approved contractor. All of our Advisors are accredited by SFEDI, the Government recognised UK Standards Setting Body for Business Support and Business Enterprise.
