A partnership between Newcastle City Council and Newcastle University, Newcastle Science City is responsible for maximising the North East’s scientific potential, raising awareness of the region’s expertise globally to create a scientific legacy for the region. We are responsible for aiding inward investment from scientific businesses based in Europe and beyond and Science Central is integral to this. One of the UK’s biggest development projects, Science Central will create a landmark urban quarter in Newcastle set to become a hub for scientific business, research and innovation.
