Originally trained as a Teacher of Outdoor Education, Paul’s experience crosses the voluntary, public and business sectors where he has worked in a variety of roles spanning community development, health, higher education and small business investment. Paul also has a particular interest and expertise in enterprise development. Paul is a qualified Mountain Leader, an active member of the Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team where he is an Advanced Medic and Swift Water Rescue Technician. He has travelled, walked and climbed in many parts of the world. His most enjoyable outdoor activities include winter mountaineering, rock climbing, hill walking, leisure cycling and trail running. In July 2011 he completed his first off-road marathon.
