Willie MacKinnon was appointed Vice President Customer Management in 2012, having worked as Senior Director at Plexus since 2005. In his role, he leads the EMEA Customer Management Team and works closely with Sector Customer Management Vice Presidents to co-ordinate client projects and drive EMEA regional growth strategies. In his previous role as Director for Operations – EMEA, Willie was responsible for establishing Plexus first manufacturing location in Central Eastern Europe, MacKinnon’s role has been key for improved operational and financial performances in the UK. His efforts were recognised by Cranfield Business School, winning the UK best factory award in the categories Supply Chain and Innovation. MacKinnon boasts 33 years of experience in the electronics industry including 20 years within the EMS sector in both senior operational and financial roles. Having worked as director of SBU operations at EMS CTS Operations for 12 years, equipped him with in-depth knowledge and expertise to master the financial and technical challenges at Plexus effortlessly. MacKinnon holds an MBA from the University of Edinburgh.
