Law firm Thorp Parker has appointed new partners to support expansion in corporate and business advice from its North Yorkshire base.
Paula Warburton and Elaine McLaine have both become partners in the business, which is celebrating 30 years on Stokesley High Street.
Partner Richard Parker said: “For the first time in the firm’s history we now have four partners, which is an indication of the success the practice has enjoyed in recent years, the additional demand we are seeing from clients both existing and new, and our decision to lay solid foundations for future growth.”
A North East training company has expanded with the addition of a new centre manager.
Elite Training Professionals have appointed Sam Myers to their Gateshead site, as she will help clients maximise their career prospects.
Managing director, Andrew Johnson, said: “We’re really pleased to be working with Sam – the wealth of experience she has will be of great benefit to us and the new centre will have a significant impact on individuals and businesses in the region.”
Your Homes Newcastle has appointed a new Environmental Sustainability Coordinator.
Dave Henry will support the delivery of YHN’s Environmental Sustainability Strategy, which aims to reduce the environmental impact of the organisation’s business activities.
Commenting on his new role, Dave said: “I was thrilled to be offered the position at YHN. Environmental sustainability is a passion of mine and I’ve fallen in love with the North East since moving here from Northern Ireland so the position is perfect for me.”
