IPL appoints Chris Bradley as Chief Development Officer
Bradley brings over 30 years’ of information management experience to the IPL board to drive strategic alliances and company-wide best practice in information management service delivery
IPL (www.ipl.com), an IT services company specialising in IT solutions and consultancy, has appointed Chris Bradley to the Board as Chief Development Officer.
In this new role, Bradley will be responsible for seeking out and securing valuable partnerships and alliances with complementary organisations, driving the corporate direction throughout IPL – most notably that of excellence in Information Management and Business Intelligence – and into individual service line offerings. Bradley will also be tasked with continuing to be at the forefront of information management evangelism.
Bradley has over 30 years’ experience in the information management field, having led major international projects in Data Governance, Information Management Strategy, Master Data Management and Data Warehousing for household name organisations and major public sector bodies, such as the UK Ministry of Defence, Volvo and Coopers & Lybrand, now PwC.
Bradley has held the role of Business Consulting Director at IPL for the last 4 years and has been responsible for introducing Information Architecture frameworks and developing Information Management strategies for some of IPL’s most valuable clients across multiple verticals, including utilities, pharmaceuticals and financial services.
Commenting on his new position, Bradley says, “Throughout my professional life, I have been involved with Information Management and Data Governance strategies – often with particularly high profile organisations. It is this experience in successfully designing and implementing such frameworks in a wide variety of verticals and countries that I believe will be pivotal in helping to advance IPL’s service line offerings, whilst maintaining focus on the fundamentals of best practice Information Management.”
Bradley is also a member of the Meta Data Professionals Organisation (MPO), is an officer of DAMA International – a non-profit global association of information and data management professionals – is owner of the “Information Asset Management Experts Channel” on the influential BeyeNetwork, and co-authored “Data Modelling for the Business – a handbook for aligning the business with IT using high-level data models”.
