Monday Motivator: Watch what you say
The words we use and the words others use are a good guide to what is going on inside the head. The words we use reflect our state of mind and in sales it is about watching what you say and listening for what your clients say. We all mutter things in our head and what we say sometimes dictates what our day is going to be like.
Listen to what you say and listen to the negative ones “I can’t sell, I am hopeless at it” are great examples of a self-fulfilling prophecy. If we say we can’t sell and we are hopeless at it guess what we will be.
I am not saying walk around the office like a nutter repeating in your head affirmations that you are brilliant and the world’s greatest just for today pay attention to the words you use. Use positive words and you will end up with a positive attitude.
To help you along I have prepared 15 great words you can use today… click here to see them…
