RSA House Becomes Worldwide Exhibition Venue

The Royal society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, also known as the RSA, has recently announced that it has completed a comprehensive restoration of its headquarters, RSA House. The refurbishment, which cost £3m and took nine months to complete, has seen the original appearance of the stunning 18thcentury building amplified and enhanced, whilst providing technology advancements which will benefit 21stcentury visitors. Meeting rooms have been installed in some of the smaller rooms, while The Great Room, one of the largest rooms in the building, was completely stripped of the old fixed seating which dominated the space, and moveable seating was installed in its place. The space has now been transformed into a multifunctional room which can be used for a whole manner of events such as conferences, exhibitions and galas. Lighting options have been enhanced in all major public areas, and the restoration of a glass mosaic floor which was discovered underneath a carpet has seen the space utterly transformed.

However the biggest developments have been the ones which will benefit those bringing exhibition stands to RSA House in the near future. All of the rooms at the venue now feature the very latest technology; they have the ability to stream and record live images to 15 channels of discreet audio, HD cinema projectors, and a multi-touch interactive wall within the foyer which is entirely unique to the RSA. Events taking place at RSA House can now be streamed across the internet in high-definition, meaning that external guests can now connect with events taking place there across the web.

For the people attending exhibitions or conferences at RSA House, this adds extra emphasis on making an impact, as in addition to the people in physical attendance at the event, their display will be streamed across the world for anyone to access. From ensuring their content is seen with a giant banner stand, to engaging the masses with content such as video or audio integration, it is vital for anyone exhibiting at RSA House to make sure their display is at the top of its game before attending these events. Using larger pop-up media exhibition stands is a great way for businesses to ensure they receive the internet and physical interest they demand at such conferences. These attention-grabbed displays are now compatible with the updated electricity systems at the conference venue, and are a striking and professional way to capture the imagination of prospective clients or partners, whether it’s over an internet stream, or in person.
