BCS joins forces with Microsoft and PwC

• BCS Ltd Announces Software Licensing and Compliance Seminar Series

Ayr, Scotland, 31st October 2012 - Business Continuity Services (BCS), a trusted global provider of Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions and services, today announced details of its new seminar series around Software Licensing and Compliance, in association with industry heavyweights, Microsoft and PwC who will also present during these events. The series will kick off next month with “Clouding the Issue: Software Compliance and Audit” which will offer insight into managing new technologies such as cloud and BYOD (bring your own device) which increase complexities around maintaining compliance.

BCS is well established in the industry, providing independent and accurate information on the correct use of commercially licensable software, normalising audit data and helping customers to achieve compliance. BCS helps its customers to save money in unnecessary software licence fees; and also educates businesses around how this can be done. This new seminar series highlights BCS’ commitment to taking the fear, uncertainty and doubt out of Software Asset Management and Licence Compliance.

Andy Fisher, New Business Development Director at BCS Ltd, is well-known for his out-spoken views on SAM, is looking forward to taking to the stage along with Microsoft to dispel any myths and misconceptions around software licensing. “There’s so much mystery surrounding SAM and Licence Compliance – we want to help people to understand how it all works so that they don’t waste money getting it wrong!” He says “Alongside the world’s biggest software vendor, and the world’s largest professional services firm, BCS hopes to enlighten and educate delegates – help them to properly understand the situation and save money by doing so!”

The first seminar will take place on 29th November 2012 at Microsoft Headquarters in Reading and will be an invitation-only event, to a select group of senior executives. PwC will provide useful information around one of the hottest trends of 2012 – BYOD and where organisations stand; Microsoft will host an interactive session around SAM, Reviews and Audits, and BCS will close the session offering practical advice around day-to-day compliance.

BCS is looking to schedule further events in early 2013 in Leeds and Edinburgh, which will continue to spread the message around governance and financial control.
