Online leads brings in the bucks for Northgate
Northgate Vehicle Hire has recorded a 20% conversion to account from enquiries submitted through its website in the last quarter (May - August 2012). The increase, which peaked to 25% in July, equates to 323 leads and 139 vehicles on hire (VOH) throughout the three-month period.
Comparable to 148 VOH throughout the whole of the last financial year, the figures show a significant uplift in website performance for the market leaders in flexible vehicle hire and fleet solutions.
Jonathan Pearce, Marketing Manager at Northgate Vehicle Hire, said: “As a company Northgate has gone through a lot of changes over the last year and this is showing in our performance levels. There has been more of a focus on our online resources from a marketing point of view and our customers are using the website as a reliable way to submit an enquiry and request a call back from a member of the sales team. The rise in conversions reflects the enormous increase in people, from all sectors whether wholesale or construction, using the web instead of picking up the phone.”
