How far will EU-US trade negotiations go?

The G8 Summit in Northern Ireland this week began with the news that landmark negotiations on a trade deal between the EU and USA would begin.

Cameron claimed the “once in a generation opportunity” has the potential to add £100bn to the EU economy. European Commission President, José Manuel Barroso, said he wanted to move fast to get rid of behind-the-border trade barriers and red tape, but conceded that negotiations were unlikely to be trouble-free.

So, where does liberalisation needs to occur, and to what extent? Perhaps Bdaily readers and their businesses have experience of encountering obstacles in trading with the US.
