The week’s North West appointments
Last week saw a number of moves and appointments in the North West. Here, Bdaily gives a roundup of some of the significant manoeuvres.
Deloitte announced seven promotions within its North West team, including one partner and six directors across a range of their services.
Aziz Ul-Haq has been promoted to partner in the Corporate Finance Advisory division, while the six new directors were named across four different units.
The director promotions are Dan Wright in Transaction Services; Tim Grogan and Giles Murphy both in Audit; Callum Robertson in Deloitte Real Estate; and Kelly Sutton and Ed Gibson both in Corporate Tax.
Meanwhile, law firm SAS Daniels named Sarah-Jane Dunhill as Deputy President of Stockport Incorporated Law Society last week, after she joined the firm in 2006.
Sarah-Jane is a member of the SAS Daniels dispute resolution team will take on the role of associate from 1st July 2013.
Another significant move was former Co-op bank chief executive, Neville Richardson, who announced his withdrawal from his role at the bank.
Following a media exposé of a £1.5bn capital hole at Co-op, Mr Richardson also stepped down from two non-executive board positions with M&S Bank and Countrywide.
