Baker Tilly reinforce their Restructuring and Recovery team
Baker Tilly has strengthened its Restructuring and Recovery team in the North West with the promotion of Keith Algie to Director and the appointment of Alex Birch as Associate Director.
Both will provide corporate restructuring and general advisory services to clients across the region. Keith will be based at the firm’s offices in Hardman Street in Manchester, while Alex will divide her time between the Manchester and Stoke-on-Trent offices.
Keith is an appointment taking Director with over 18 years of experience dealing in contentious insolvency, bankruptcy assignments linked to fraud and public interest investigations for HMRC.
Alex, who joins Baker Tilly from KPMG, has 18 years’ accounting, insolvency and restructuring advisory experience gained in a wide range of sectors.
Lindsey Cooper, Partner at Baker Tilly Restructuring and Recovery LLP in Manchester said: “The North West economy is still struggling and there are a large number of small and medium sized businesses experiencing different degrees of financial distress. The skills and experience that Keith and Alex bring to our senior team will help strengthen our offering to these businesses, and provide a better service to HMRC and our solicitor intermediaries across the region.”
