Manchester law firm secures £2.5m package for growth
Manchester-based JMW Solicitors has confirmed Barclays as its new banking partner, and has secured a £2.5m finance package to facilitate future growth.
The firm has revealed significant growth in turnover – up from £10m in 2010/11 to £15m in 2012/13.
JMW now has 215 staff, including 39 partners.
The banking facility was arranged by Barclays relationship director Steve Lewis, based in Manchester.
JMW managing partner Bill Jones said: “The appointment of Barclays as our new bankers is a culmination of the relationships that have developed between individuals at Barclays and JMW.
“Barclays share our massive enthusiasm for our business and are very supportive of our future plans.”
Mr Lewis said: “This is a great example of how Barclays are bringing together the various parts of the business to support our client’s interests and our strong appetite to provide funding to quality businesses in the region.”
