Leeds multimedia company breaks ground with 3D technology
Leeds-based digital marketing agency Snowball Digital has developed unequalled technology that enables 3D television without glasses for retail, trade shows and digital signage.
Along with innovative ‘catchy’ cartoon whiteboard animation, and 2D to 3D conversion, the company has been making headway into groundbreaking technologies to aid marketing.
David Frazier, managing director, has overseen the development of the brand, has said that this sort of innovation “is taking animation to its inevitable next stage” and believes that “persistence is the key to success” when it comes to breaking such a difficult market that is still in its infancy.
He also says of the freelance model: “We pride ourselves in finding the best qualified people to do the job.”
Snowball Digital helped win a £13m tender for blue chip company NG Bailey for the construction of Birmingham New St Station, with an animated 3D solution.
They have also worked with English Heritage to provide 3D animations of Goodrich Castle in Herefordshire, as well as virtual tours of Ripon and Beverly Minster cathedrals. Snowball Digital has also worked with Leeds City College, the third largest in the country, to promote their gourmet food academy.
